DJR: Warren Luff to make DJR debut

27/8/2003 0:28 (Press Release) - Talented young Sydneysider Warren Luff will make his debut for Dick Johnson
Racing in this weekend's final round of the Konica V8 Supercar Series in
South Australia.

Luff is set to partner team regular Steve Johnson in this year's endurance
races aboard a Shell Helix Racing Ford Falcon.

Leader of the V8 BRutes series and totally dominant in a recent guest appearance in the MGF Trophy Series at Oran Park (Sydney), Luff will make his first start for Australia's longest-established professional motor racing team
at the Mallala circuit outside Adelaide.

"It's all about wheel time ... Warren has been going great in testing so
when the opportunity came to give him some more miles in the Konica car, it was a natural," Dick Johnson said.

"We think the real value of contesting Mallala will be to give Warren race
miles, not just testing miles, and that will give us our best shot at the
endurance races."

Luff will partner Steve Johnson in the Sandown 500 on 14 September and
the Bathurst 1000 on 12 October.
