New cut-price livery for Kmart Commodores

2/10/2002 11:29 (V8 Wire - Jason Whittaker) - The Kmart Racing Team will be a cut above the rest at next week’s Bob Jane T-Marts 1000 at Bathurst, in the livery stakes at least.

Kmart Racing's cut-price look represents the retailer's new marketing campaign

The team unveiled a new-look design during a two-day pre-Bathurst shakedown at Winton Raceway, finishing yesterday.

The ‘scissors’ graphics represents Kmart’s ‘cut the cost of living’ campaign.

Regular drivers Greg Murphy and Todd Kelly will spearhead the team’s assault in the lead car, while European imports Yvan Muller and Andy Priaulx will share the second Commodore.
