Doulman out, Scott in (again) at Paragon

3/9/2002 21:54 (V8 Wire - Jason Whittaker) - Veteran Queenslander Tony Scott has been called into the Paragon Motorsport outfit – again – to partner Cameron McLean in the endurance events.

Scott gave up the drive in July to concentrate on his business interests.

Peter Doulman was named as his replacement, but a lower back injury forced his withdrawal after a painful test session at Queensland Raceway last Thursday.

“Tony Scott has recently sold All Power Steering [Scott's business] and is now free to drive whenever and wherever he chooses,” Paragon team manager, Ross Dillon, told V8 Wire.

“As he is a personal friend of mine, it was logical to ask him to sub for Peter, to which he agreed.”

Doulman, who could only manage seven laps on Thursday, said he looked forward to helping the team in anyway he could.
