Lowndes signs Autobarn sponsorship

Craig Lowndes has signed a personal sponsorship deal with automotive retail chain Autobarn.
Craig Lowndes will cut the ribbon at all Autobarn store openings as part of a new sponsorship arrangement

The three-time V8 Supercar champion will become the public face of Autobarn, appearing in media advertisements and making in-store appearances.
Lowndes will also carry the Autobarn logo on his helmet and race suit through 2002/03.
"I have really enjoyed the time I have spent with Autobarn [and] I look forward to meeting many more franchisees, their staff and customers over the coming months during this exciting time in the company's national expansion," Lowndes said.
