First wives' club resume battle in Adelaide

V8 Supercars’ first ladies, Natalie Lowndes and Jill Johnson, will resume hostilities on the streets of Adelaide next month, in the all-female Celebrity Challenge in support of the Clipsal 500.
Johnson, wife to Dick and mother of DJR racer Steven, will be out to avenge her narrow loss in last year’s inaugural Adelaide celebrity race to Lowndes, wife of Ford star Craig.
South Australian Tourism Minister, Martin Hamilton-Smith launched the Celebrity Challenge, sponsored by Exide Batteries, in Adelaide today.
Lowndes and Johnson, along with other local media personalities, will race in identical Ford Laser SR2s in two feature races on Saturday and Sunday.
