Caltex commits to third year

Caltex has ratified its support of Stone Brothers Racing, committing to the team’s 2002 campaign.
Caltex will take-up the third-year option of its current contract with SBR, signed last year.
David Besnard will again pilot the No. 9 Caltex Havoline-livered Falcon next season.
Caltex Lubricants Manager, Gavin Tory, said the partnership had been extremely successful in building brand awareness.
"Our entire motorsport program offers the Caltex lubricants brand an ideal platform from which to be showcased – and the V8 Series is the most significant part of that program," he said.
Pirtek, which sponsors the sister car of Marcos Ambrose, recently signed a new three-year sponsorship agreement with the Gold Coast-based team.
