28/1/2000 4:00 (Shane Rogers) - Hi, and welcome to the 2000 V8Supercar Pick 10. We’ve sent it to the paint booth, reworked the engine, and we’re adding an extra set of roll bars as I type.
Over the next week or so we will be adding team profiles, as well as starting to keep you up to date with the latest V8Supercar News. Our team profiles section will also be up soon.
Meanwhile, for all those who keep asking, Yes! You can enter the V8Supercar Pick 10. Problem is, we don’t have an entry list yet, but we’re working on that one too.
I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Mark Jones to our team. Mark is one of the most respected members of the Australian Internet motorsport community, and it is a privilege to have him on board. The quality of the new VESRIX statistics project, plus a mention Motorsport News before we even got to writing a press release is a testament to Mark’s good work.
Mark is also going to join our Experts panel, a new section of the site. On the morning after the close of entries for the V8Supercar Pick 10, you will be able to see what the experts predict, and then see how they go on Monday. It should be, well, interesting, to say the least.
Another welcome to Nicole Rogers, who is joining the project in an extended capacity as competition coordinator.
There’s only one person who you can quote to describe the V8Supercar Pick 10 project in 2000, and that’s big Dazza. “It’s gonna be heeeuuuugggggeeeeeeee!”
