Canto named as Indy "young gun"

V8 Supercar regular Dean Canto will compete against some of the sport’s most exciting up-and-comers in the Gillette Young Gun Challenge at next month’s Gold Coast Indy carnival.
20-year-old Canto, the 2000 Konica V8 Supercar Series champion, was named alongside karting champion Peter Hackett and Formula Ford graduate (and Perkins Engineering enduro pilot) Luke Youlden. More drivers will be announced soon.
The field will battle over two races in support of the CART race, aboard identical Honda Integras.
Last year, Stone Brothers rookie Marcos Ambrose won a test session for Indy Lights team Pac West when he took out the inaugural Young Gun trophy.
