Brock Jnr. to drive Imrie Commodore
13/8/2001 14:08 (V8 Wire - Jason Whittaker) -
James Brock, son of nine-time Bathurst champ Peter, will drive Mike Imrie’s IMS Commodore over the final rounds of the series – including the endurance events.
Brock has tested Imrie’s VX Commodore twice over the past few weeks, with promising results.
The 25-year-old made his V8 Supercar debut at last year’s Queensland 500 alongside Paul Romano, before partnering Terry Wyhoon at the Bathurst 1000.
Brock's co-driver for next week's Queensland 500, where he’ll hope to pre-qualify for the event, is yet to be named.
