Rookie ace White to test with SBR

2000 Rookie of the Year Matthew White will test alongside Marcos Ambrose and David Besnard after being offered the opportunity by Queensland’s Stone brothers.
The former Konica Series front-runner, now struggling Shell Series hopeful, White will put in some laps aboard Besnard’s Caltex Havoline Falcon at the team's next Queensland Raceway testing session.
White said he was flattered by the request.
“It's an excellent opportunity," he said. "They're definitely one of the best teams in the series.”
"Ross, Jim and the team run a very professional operation and they have manufactured two extremely competitive, reliable race cars.”
It’s understood White is a candidate for the position of Besnard’s co-driver in this year’s endurance races. Greg Crick has already been named as Marcos Ambrose’s accomplice.
