Logie nod to Bathurst classic

The Bathurst 1000 has again received the highest television honour, announced as a nominee in this year's TV Week Logie Awards.
A winner in the category last year, the Ten Network's coverage of November's V8 Supercar finale will compete against its own Melbourne Cup coverage, Nine's Summer of Cricket and the Sydney Olympic Games spectacular on Seven for the prestigious industry-voted award.
More than 1.8 million Australians tuned-in to Ten's marathon Bathurst coverage last year, making it the most watched motorsport program in history.
Television's 'night of nights' is on April 22.
