Queensland-based CAT Racing’s 2001 livery was released to the media today – a sharper look than that of the team’s two previous years.
After a record-setting freshman year in 1999, the first year of the new century for the CAT squad was one Bowe would prefer to forget. Now fully established in the Sunshine State, expectations are high for the 2001 season.
Former DJR man Les Laidlaw has been reunited with Bowe, joining the modest CAT litter for the New Year.
The John Briggs-led outfit relocated to a new spacious, multi-million dollar facility in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley late last year.
The new headquarters allows for future expansion of the fleet, should more funds become available. A new AU Falcon will debut at Eastern Creek in April.
