John Bowe (4), Paul Radisich (3), Mark Larkham (2), Greg Murphy and Russell Ingall have won the individual races.
Ford have won 9 races at Gold Coast compared to Holden's 2, the only circuit Ford has dominated at.

Holdens outnumber Fords in the entry 20-13.

Paul Radisich's round win at Sandown was his first in the Shell Series, and his second V8Supercar event win. His wins in Race 1 and 3 were his sixth and seventh race wins in V8Supercar. Radisich became the 33rd driver to win a Shell Series (and predecessors) round.
Steven Ellery's Race 2 win was his debut win in V8Supercar on his 150th race start. This is the longest a V8Supercar driver has waited to win his first race, the previous record being held by Mark Larkham who waited until his 120th V8Supercar race start before winning on the streets of Surfers Paradise in 1998.
Ellery’s second overall for the day also constitutes both his and his team's best ever result. Steven Ellery became the 84th driver to stand on the podium at a Shell Series (and predecessors) round.
Ford finally broke Holden's record breaking winning streak in the Shell Championship Series. With only one round of the Shell Series left it was looking possible that Holden might go through the year undefeated. In the previous history of the championship, since it became a multi-event championship in 1969, a manufacturer has gone undefeated in a season 3 times. Holden in 1975 and 1979, and Ford in 1988.
A manufacturer has gone though a season only losing one round several times. In 1980 Holden only had one win taken off them (by Chevrolet), 1989 Ford (by Nissan), 1996 Holden (by Ford), 1998 Holden (by Ford), and 1999 Holden (by Ford).
Since 1996 Ford have won only 7 Shell series events, compared to Holden's 48. 30 of those 48 wins belong to Holden Racing Team.
Record for consecutive Shell Series round wins stands at 19 (Holden Commodore VS & VT):
1999 Sandown (Mark Skaife), 1999 Queensland Raceway (Garth Tander), 1999 Calder Park (Mark Skaife), 1999 Symmons Plains (Mark Skaife), 1999 Winton (Jason Bargwanna), 1999 Oran Park (Mark Skaife), 1999 Queensland Raceway (Russell Ingall/Larry Perkins), 1999 Mount Panorama (Steven Richards/Greg Murphy), 2000 Phillip Island (Garth Tander), 2000 Barbagallo (Craig Lowndes), 2000 Adelaide (Garth Tander), 2000 Eastern Creek (Mark Skaife), 2000 Hidden Valley (Mark Skaife), 2000 Canberra (Steven Richards), 2000 Queensland Raceway (Craig Lowndes), 2000 Winton (Jason Bargwanna), 2000 Oran Park (Mark Skaife), 2000 Calder Park (Steven Richards), 2000 Queensland Raceway (Mark Skaife/Craig Lowndes).
