CAMS IPO/STEWARD'S UPDATE

Matters arising from Practice 1:
Following the IPO's investigation, the following cars/divers/teams were
found to be in breach of rules, refuelling during practice session
(D20.4), and were excluded from the session:
* Car #8, Craig Baird, WPS Racing;
* Car #17, Steven Johnson, Westpoint Racing; and
* Car #18, Glenn Seton, Westpoint Racing.
Following the IPO's investigation, car #3, Jason Richards, Tasman
Motorsport, was found to be in breach of rules, failing to secure
left-hand rear wheel (C14.4.3). Car #3 was excluded from the session.
Other matters:
Britek Motorsport was found to be in breach of rules, late attendance at
Team Manager's Briefing on 14/04/05 (D4.2.2). The Stewards imposed a
penalty of $250.
Nemo Racing was found to be in breach of rules, failure to park at 45
degrees in pit bay (D11.4.11). The IPO imposed a penalty of a warning.
Tasman Motorsport was found to be in breach of rules, pit lane garage
doors not being fully open during event hours (E2.3.3.1). The IPO
imposed a penalty of $2,000 per offence for each car (#3 and #23). The
total penalty was $4,000.
