CALDER PARK PROCEEDINGS DISCONTINUED

The Confederation of Australian Motor Sport Limited (CAMS) received
notification today that Calder Park Racing Promotions Pty Ltd and Calder
Park Raceway Pty Ltd, companies associated with Bob Jane, have
discontinued proceedings against CAMS, the Australian Motor Sports
Commission (AMSC), the Australian Vee Eight Supercar Organisation
(AVESCO) and all directors.
CAMS Chief Executive Officer Dr Rob Nethercote acknowledged receipt of
notification.
"The notification received by CAMS today upholds our position that the
allegations made against CAMS were without substance. We were always
prepared to vigorously defend our position and are pleased that Calder
Park has decided to discontinue the action."
