RESULTS OF INVESTIGATIONS HELD AFTER RACE 1
The IPO held an investigation into an alleged breach of rules by
Vendance Pty Ltd (Westpoint Racing) for presence of commercial and
promotional personnel at the podium presentation after Race 1.
Offence: Presence at podium presentation of Commercial and Promotional
Personnel - E2.6.2 (A2.2, A4.5, A8.1).
Decision: Breach proved by admission and penalty accepted.
Penalty: A fine of $30,000.
The investigation into Greg Ritter, car #5, for running over pit
equipment is continuing today.
