PENALTIES IMPOSED DURING RACE 1
Andrew Jones, car #34, was required to complete a pit lane penalty for
exceeding the pit lane speed limit (43km/h).
John Bowe, car #12, was required to complete a pit lane penalty for a
pit stop infringement, in that seven people were across the prescribed
line during the pit stop (maximum of six allowed).
Anthony Tratt, car #75, was required to complete a pit lane penalty for
passing under yellow flags (passed Paul Morris, car #67)
INVESTIGATIONS TO BE HELD AFTER RACE 1
The IPO will hold investigations into the following incidents:
* John Bowe, car #12, for a possible pit stop infringement, for
which a pit lane penalty has already been imposed.
* Andrew Jones, car #34, did not appear to satisfactorily engage
reverse gear after a spin.
* Jamie Whincup, car #23, for a possible dangerous exit of pit bay
in front of car #34, Andrew Jones.
* Alex Davison, car #7, did not appear to satisfactorily engage
reverse gear after hitting wall.
* Contact between Paul Morris, car #67 and John Bowe, car #12, at
turn 9.
* Gregg Ritter, car #5, for running over own pit equipment.
