Hyundai Construction Racing launch brand-new BA Falcon

Hyundai Construction Racing launched its 2005 HPDC V8 Supercar Series campaign at Queensland Raceway Wednesday last. The brand-new BA Falcon in Hyundai Construction Equipment and Hydraulink livery was debuted by Steve Ellery Racing at its pre-Clipsal test day.
The Hyundai Construction Racing Falcon turned its wheels for the first time and driver, Mark Porter, enthused about its performance. “The car has been beautifully built by the highly professional Steve Ellery Racing team. They have openly welcomed me and I feel very comfortable there.”
Team Principal, Bruce Ellery, had this to say, “We’re very glad to have Mark on board and at the wheel of our brand-new car. Mark achieved a championship third last year and our AU Falcon was equal first. I am sure Mark has the ability, and now the equipment, to improve on last year’s result.”
Long hours have been worked to get the car to the track, and Team Manager, John McLean, praised the small but very professional outfit by saying, “The guys on the floor can hold their heads high for the effort they put in. We know how well the Hyundai Construction Racing Falcon has been built. The goal now is to turn that into on-track results, which I feel we can do.”

Joining Hyundai Construction Equipment as major sponsor will be Porter’s long-time racing partner Hydraulink fluid connectors.
The Hyundai Construction Racing Falcon will compete in the HPDC V8 Supercar Series races at the Clipsal 500 meeting in Adelaide from 17 to 19 March.
