Tony goes it alone

Tony D'Alberto is ready to attack the 2005 V8 Supercars Development Series for the first time with his own team at Adelaide's Clipsal 500 next weekend. After racing for both Holden Young Lions and Independent Race Cars in the previous two years TDR has purchased a VY Commodore to challenge for the 2005 Series.
TDR has the support of some great sponsors in 2005 with continued support from GMAC, PPG, D'Alberto Holden and Bellmont Nominees who have all chosen to continue with TDR for the 2005 Series. New sponsors to come aboard in 2005 are HSV, Spraybooth Solutions, Valvoline and KC Tools.
"It is great to have such loyal support from our sponsors, I would like to thank them all for what they have done for TDR. I hope we can repay them with good exposure and success on the track," Tony said.
The team will conduct a test day on Monday (14th March) at Winton before heading straight to Adelaide for the Clipsal 500 Support, which is Round 1 of the 2005 V8 Supercars Development Series.
Team Manager, Al D'Alberto said: "It has been a really busy time, setting up a new team for a new season, but we are pretty much under control now. We have a great group of well credentialed people behind the team which should help us to achieve our goals."
TDR's schedule for the Clipsal 500 Support event includes practice and
qualifying on Thursday, Race 1 on Friday and Race 2 on Saturday.
