LARKHAM - ORRCON RACING LAUNCHES NEW WEBSITE
17/3/2005 18:02 (Press Release) -
With over 800 million websites now available throughout the world, businesses are always looking to improve their websites to make theirs stand above the rest, Larkham – Orrcon Racing is no different.
Over the past few years the team at Larkham – Orrcon Racing have continually developed their website and today they have launched their latest creation.
The key to the new look site is the content itself which has been designed specifically for the fans of the V8 Supercar Championship who are always looking for something a little extra in a website.
www.orrconracing.com contains a lot more than just information on team drivers Jason Bargwanna and Mark Winterbottom as they compete in the Championship aboard their Orrcon Racing Falcons.
The website is an information source for race fans on a variety of levels containing information specific to the team, drivers and technical information on the Orrcon Racing Falcons. It also contains the latest news from the Championship including updated results, Championship points, rule changes and Network Ten telecast times.
“I think for a race team in the modern era it is critical to have an up to date website as a communication tool, in a big way it is our face to the world,” said team owner Mark Larkham.
“From my understanding of the research that we have done as a category we have found out that a lot of our fans are information junkies and an intelligent bunch. The fans are interested to know a lot about what is happening in our sport, which is why we are providing the extra information on our new site.
“Whether the information or news is team, Championship or technical related we want people to know that they can find it on our site.”
The Orrcon Racing Falcons take took to the track for the first time in 2005 today at the Foster’s Australian Grand Prix around Melborune’s Albert Park circuit with both cars inside the top 20, Bargwanna 13th and Winterbottom 20th.
