Macrow and Muller complete Team Betta Electrical lineup

17/3/2005 16:35 (Press Release) - Triple Eight Race Engineering announced today that Adam Macrow and Yvan Muller have signed on with Team Betta Electrical as endurance drivers for the 2005 season.

“Team Betta Electrical is shaping up to have an amazing year and I’m incredibly excited and also proud to be driving on the same team as Craig Lowndes and Steve Ellery,” said Macrow.

“We’ve got new cars, new drivers, new engines and a winning attitude, so I can only imagine that this season will see fantastic results.”

Triple Eight Race Engineering Managing Director, Roland Dane was pleased with the Team’s final addition.

“Yvan is a long time team member of Triple Eight and as such, is always welcome here,” said Roland Dane. “And Adam is a driver who brings a lot of determination and enthusiasm to the Team. He showed good speed at Bathurst last year and his co-driver, Allan Menu, recommended Adam him to me.”

As well as driving for FPR in the 2004 enduros, Adam also competed in the Victorian State Circuit Racing Championship in the Improved Production category where he gained three victories during the 2004 season.

Yvan rejoins the Team Betta Electrical, completing the driver lineup. French-born Muller is a nine-time European Ice Racing Champion and drove for Triple Eight at Sandown and Bathurst in 2004. He was the 2003 British Touring Car Champion and will again head up Triple Eight UK’s driving force in 2005.
