Richards to keep his number in 2005

Leading driver Steven Richards will retain his Number 11 in the 2005 V8 Supercar Championship Series following a resolution to a complicated process that has finalised the entry list for the upcoming season.
Richards may have lost the number following the decision of his team boss Larry Perkins to sell his two level one franchise licences and then return to racing under leasing arrangements. But after agreements between Perkins, the Wright Patton Shakespeare team and Brad Jones Racing, Richards was able to retain the number that was used by Perkins throughout his own driving career.
The entry list for next week’s Australian Grand Prix was finalised today. It is:
