Superstars of V8 Supercars visit Coffs Harbour

The Superstars of V8 Supercars will visit Coffs Harbour Ex Services Club on Saturday the 12th of February at 7:30pm. V8 Supercar drivers Rick Kelly from Kelly Racing Team, Steven Richards from Castrol Perkins Racing and Glenn Seton from Dick Johnson Racing will be attending the Just 4 Kids fundraiser.
Funds raised from the event will go towards Playscheme, a Red Cross program coordinated in the Coffs Harbour Hospital. Just 4 Kids representative Scott Bedford said the night will be very special for V8 Supercar enthusiasts with the drivers getting up on stage to answer the publics questions.
“The night will conclude with an auction with items such as pictures and shirts signed by the attending drivers and other V8 drivers such as Craig Lowndes and Greg Murphy and used parts of actual V8 Supercars being auctioned. Other items include a framed swim cap signed by Ian Thorpe, limited edition Ken Done print and signed “A Captain’s Diary” by Ricky Ponting,” said Scott.
“We are also holding a V8 Supercar competition at Joshua Cornell - The Good Guys on the 29th of Jan and 5th of February. Whoever can record the fastest lap on the V8 Supercars 2 Playstation game will win 4 tickets to the event, sit at a drivers table and also win a DVD courtesy of Joshua Cornell - The Good Guys,” said Scott. Entry to the competition is a gold coin donation.
