Seton tests with DJR

30/11/2004 18:25 (Press Release) - Glenn Seton has tested with his 2005 team Dick Johnson Racing. Released by current employer Ford Performance Racing for the test session, Seton completed more than 100 laps at Queensland Raceway in sweltering conditions.

"The test was good, a very positive experience," Glenn Seton said.

"It was great to get to know the team, they all work together really well and they know what they want to do and where they want to go.

"I was very impressed with Dave Stuart (Seton's engineer) he's a fantastic operator.

"I'm looking forward to being a part of DJR; it's an exciting team to be associated with."

DJR Team Chief Dean Orr said the decision to include Seton in the final test of the year was a worthwhile one.

"It (the test) was quite a positive day," Orr said.

"We had a lot to do and got through it all easily.

"The aim was for Glenn to feel comfortable in the Ford and for him to get to know the team, which was achieved.

"Glenn spent a few hours adjusting the car, making changes so that it was too his liking, which helps us going into the off-season.

"He fit in well with the entire team and made a very good contribution, we are all looking forward to next year."
