Mark Skaife:
“Eastern Creek has usually been a great circuit for Holden Racing Team and we've had a great time there over the years. We were running a strong second earlier this year until I was caught up with a lapped car in the wet.
We need to finish the season on a high and our recent development program gives us every chance. All year our cars have show good speed in practice and qualifying but it hasn't converted to race day results.
This weekend's three race format will help us in what could be hot and slow, trying conditions. It gives us a couple of bites of the cherry to take out a race win or two.”
Car #22/Chassis #49:
Post Tasmania:
• New spec engine
Todd Kelly:
“My focus for this final round of the Championship is only to go out and have a real crack at winning races. We have been on the brink of some good results for most of the season, and I am hoping that this last round will be our chance to pull off a win or two.
Given how well the car was travelling in Tasmania before the engine failure, I know we are going to be one of the most competitive cars out there. I am going to make sure we put ourselves in a position to try and bring home a positive end to the Season. It would be a good way to roll into 2005 on a winning note”.
Round 13 consists of three races, each with one compulsory pit stop.
Race 1 (26 Laps) 100kms
Race 2 (39 Laps) 150kms
Race 3 (39 Laps) 150kms
