• The first Official V8 Supercar Yearbook hits the newsstands on December 22

• Mailed anywhere in Australia for Christmas 2004
The first Official V8 Supercar Yearbook goes on sale in Australian newsagencies in 30 days time, with internet pre-sales being delivered the week before.
The creation of the first V8 Supercar Yearbook has seen SAM Media look for new ways to cover the sport, and it is confident it has met that goal.
“This season has been as good as we’ve ever seen, with the on-track action almost being matched by the activity off-track,” editor Andrew Clarke said recently.
“We have tried to capture as much of the drama as possible, our early market research says the book is visually stunning and informative – which was the prime goal we set when we started planning this book late last year.
“There is no doubt V8 Supercars is one of the most competitive motorsport series in the world and that it is one of the premium sports in this country. It is about time it had a Yearbook worthy of its status.”
Demand should be high when the Yearbook hits the newsstands in 30 days time, and its publishers are encouraging race fans to buy online if they want to guarantee their Yearbook in time for Christmas.
The V8 Supercars Yearbook 2004 is a 208 page chronicle of the 2004 season, and will provide a life-long record of the events and drama that made the season what it was.
SAM Media is Scott Wensley, Andrew Clarke and Mark Horsburgh.
