Steve Johnson to drive for DJR in '05

The waiting is over; Steve Johnson will drive for Dick Johnson Racing in 2005. "The decision (to stay) was an extremely tough one to make as I did have other offers, but I'm happy to say that I will be with DJR in 2005," Steve Johnson said.
"The team has improved a lot this year, it's really stepped up, but we need to continue to improve to be a major threat next year, which I think we can be.
"I think that we are a good chance to win races next year."
Dick Johnson Racing Managing Director Steve Chalker is pleased to have Johnson staying with the team.
"Everyone is obviously delighted that Steve has agreed to stay with DJR," he said.
"There's been a lot of pressure on Steve to make a decision, and one that he has not made lightly.
"I think he can see where the team is headed and that is exciting for him and his championship prospects.
"A Steve Johnson and Glenn Seton partnership will be extremely competitive .. everyone is looking forward to success in 2005."
