The lap itself wasn’t that smooth, but it’s a complex circuit and you really battle to make each corner. You have to dedicate 110% to every area of the track so it makes it really rewarding when you finish in top spot. To wheel out the old car after a couple of years in mothballs was great. It’s been such a good car over the years, and should do really well over the weekend. Our plan is to come out here over the next two days and really give it a red-hot go. We have nothing to lose, and it would be good to win a couple of races towards the end of this season to head us into 2005 on a positive note”. I am not too happy with finishing in sixth, but once we knew we were comfortably in the Top 10, we shut it down to save our tyres for tomorrow. I am not too concerned with the position - we showed some really promising signs throughout the practice sessions today. We are just trying to play it cool and make sure we fire when it counts. We need to use our heads over the two races, as brakes and tyres will be a bit of a drama. It will be a long race on Sunday and hard on the tyres.
