TKR focussed on top ten at Bathurst

8/10/2004 22:14 (Press Release) - Team Kiwi Racing are looking forward to a top ten position in the All Black Machine at Bathurst in 2004. After showing good car speed from the TKR machine at Bathurst last year to run inside the top ten for most of the big race before an engine overheating problem put end to a top ten finish, TKR are confident that with the best car and engine package the team have had so far they will be in with a strong chance to finish the awesome event inside the top ten in 2004.

"The new PMM chassis and engine package TKR have this year in conjunction with the teams 100% finish rate at Bathurst coupled with Craig Baird and Mark Porter both driving very well at present, should give TKR our best chance yet of a top ten result so far". Said Team Owner David John.

On debut at Bathurst in 2000 TKR finished 16th backed up the following year with a 16th position yet again, then followed up with an impressive 11th position and last year 17th after running inside the top ten for most of the great race.
