Fans put on 28 days notice towards Bob Jane T-Marts 1000

It’ll be a motorsport and musical spectacular like no other during the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000 on October 7-10, following today’s announcement that top Australian rock band 28 Days will perform an open air concert on the Friday night of the ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN.
In a timely statement delivered just 28 days out from the Event, the Melbourne based band members are already pumping up for what will be a rare opportunity to play as a major supporting act to Australia’s number one motorsports Event.
“We’re all huge V8 Supercar fans and can’t wait to get to Bathurst where we’re sure it’ll be going off in a big way,” agreed the 28 Days band.
“True to our name we’re putting all the fans on 28 Days notice for what will be one of our best-ever concerts.
“You couldn’t ask for a greater spectacle than to have the V8’s roaring around this country’s most famous track at Mount Panaroma and we want to keep the party rolling on well into the night.
“We’re using the concert as a launch pad for our new album ‘Extremist Makeover’ which is due for release on October 10.
“All-in-all it’s a very timely album release coinciding with the staging of the ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN and we’re confident the album will be considered the ULTIMATE of our collection.
“Fans at the concert will be assured a great mix of old favourites and some of the more recent sounds the band has been producing.”
Already boasting a number one album (Upstyledown) and experiencing phenomenal success with its back-up ‘Stealing Chairs’, it’s an almost given that 28 Days will be well received by the many hundreds of thousands of fans in attendance at the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000.
Their hit singles Sucker, What’s the Deal and the ever-popular Rip It Up will have everyone screaming for more, as 28 Days serves up the ideal complement to the ULTIMATE SHOWDOWN.

All purchasers of grandstand seating automatically qualify for the draw for the ULTIMATE race experience, where a lucky fan will be ushered to the Ford Performance Racing or PWR Racing team pit garage and taken on a guided tour by drivers competing in the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000.
Complementing the on-track experience, the winner will also receive a set of four Dunlop SP3000A tyres, fitted and balanced at any Bob Jane T-Marts store in Australia.
Dunlop is the official supplier of tyres to the Australian V8 Supercar Championship Series.
