TKR look to take Porter one further

Team Kiwi Racing will be looking to secure Mark Porter his best ever overall finishing position in the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Series after the final round of the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship takes place at Mallala Raceway, Adelaide, South Australia, this weekend.
Porter who drives the TKR/Hydraulink sponsored 111 car is in his third
year of competing in the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship, finishing in a very respectful 4th position on debut and in third position overall last year.
"We have had a mixed season this year and have just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time on occasions, yet we have been able to fight our way back into fourth position going into the championship decider this weekend," said Porter.
"The competition this year in the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship has risen to a new level, so to be able to finish on the podium this year with a new team behind me would be a great achievement by all involved."

The TKR/Hydraulink car is the odd one out in the top five of the
Championship placing with a dominant Ford pack having a strangle hold
on four of the top five positions going into the last round of the
Championship.
