Steven Richards named as Ambassador for Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Series finale

Castrol Perkins Motorsport’s Steven Richards will act as the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Series’ Ambassador for the sixth and final round of the Series which will be held at Mallala Motorsport Park in South Australia on August 21-22.
Richards is currently sitting third on the V8 Supercar Championship Series points table behind fellow Holden driver Jason Bright and last years champion Marcos Ambrose.
Richards will provide South Australian motorsport fans with some expert commentary at the track over the event weekend, as well as handing over the 2004 Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Series Champion trophy to the eventual winner on Sunday afternoon.
At least seven drivers will be going into the final round with the chance of taking out the title There are only 15 points separating the top three drivers of Luke Youlden, Andrew Jones and Owen Kelly.
