V8 Yearbook goes for Variety
16/8/2004 12:13 (Press Release) -
SAM Media has announced today it will donate 50 cents from every copy sold of the inaugural V8 Supercar Yearbook to the Variety, The Children’s Charity.
SAM Media chose Variety as the official charity for its Yearbook because of the broad-based work for children in need: “We looked at a whole range of charity groups to get involved with for the Yearbook, and decided on Variety for a number of reasons,” SAM Media’s Scott Wensley said at Oran Park.
“It is nationally active which was important to us, but it is more about the quality of its work. All money raised goes directly into buying equipment for children in need, helping people with things like wheelchairs and special walkers as well as funding research into children’s issues.”
The first ever Official V8 Supercar Yearbook 2004 is now available for advance purchase online at v8yearbook.com.
The V8 Supercar Yearbook 2004 is a 208 page chronicle of the 2004 season, and will provide a life-long record of the events and drama that made the season that it was.
SAM Media is Scott Wensley, Andrew Clarke and Mark Horsburgh.
