Dunlop Distributes Its 20,000th V8 Supercar Tyre

Half-way through its third year as official tyre supplier to the V8 Supercar Championship Dunlop has distributed its 20,000th tyre. During official tyre selection the tyre was randomly selected by TEGA and handed over to Holden's Team Kiwi Racing.
With Craig Baird and Team Kiwi doing so well in this year's championship Dunlop hopes that the tyre brings the team luck over the weekend.
The 20,000th tyre distributed by Dunlop was one of the 1000 tyres taken to Queensland Raceway for this weekend's V8 Supercar round.
"Twenty-thousand tyres is an achievement but Dunlop is most proud of its reputation for developing and providing tyres that meet all of the needs of modern day V8 Supercar racing," Dunlop Motorsport Marketing Manager Leisa Emberson said.
"To have a tyre that can perform on fifteen different tracks all over Australia, and in New Zealand, in all types of weather and in sprint and endurance events is a good indication of Dunlop's quality and superior performance."
"Tyres aside, Dunlop also provides teams with valuable technical support to assist in their preparation and performance over the course of an event.
"There's nothing better than to see a battle on track between drivers pushing hard and to know that the drivers and the teams trust their tyres through to the end."
