Chance To Win A Hot Lap Of Queensland Raceway At Ford V8 Black Tie Dinner!

Attendees of the Ford V8 Black Tie Charity Dinner at Brisbane's Treasury Casino on Wednesday 30 June will have the chance to win the ride of their life aboard the famous Shell Helix Racing #17 of Steven Johnson.
Son of Queensland legend Dick Johnson, Steven Johnson is one of the bright stars of V8 Supercar racing. His list of achievements includes victory at Queensland Raceway back in 2001.
The hot lap with Steven Johnson will be the auction prize, with all proceeds going to Ford Racing's 2004 nominated charity, Breast Cancer Research.
Queensland race fans will get the chance to dine and chat with their favourite Ford V8 Supercar driver at the inaugural Ford V8 Black Tie Charity Dinner to be held at the Treasury Casino on Wednesday 30 June from 6.30pm.
All 13 of Ford's officially supported drivers will be at the Ford V8 Black Tie Charity Dinner, on the eve of round #6 of the V8 Supercar Series at Queensland Raceway outside Ipswich on July 2-4.
2003 was one of the Blue Oval's most successful years on record, with championship trophies going to Marcos Ambrose, Pirtek Racing and Ford. Ambrose scored six of Ford's nine victories in 2003.
The corresponding round at Queensland Raceway in 2003 was won by his Stone Brothers Racing teammate Russell Ingall (Caltex Havoline Racing); his first aboard a Ford.
Ford's resurgence has generated plenty of interest. Due to overwhelming demand for driver appearances, Ford decided to bring everyone together for a massive pre-race function.
This event is sure to be a sell-out, so fans are advised to get in early.
The Ford V8 Black Tie Charity Dinner includes exclusive driver interviews, live show entertainment, highlights of the 2004 season, special gifts and giveaways.
Amongst the highlights is the opportunity to gamble with special Ford money, as well as a separate raffle with lots of great prizes.
