Murphy Flies In Perth ... Again

Kiwi Greg Murphy has torn up the Barbagallo racetrack in Perth for the second day running in today’s final practice session before round five of the V8 Supercar Championship Series.
In the car that won him Bathurst last year, Murphy was second in practice this morning just shades behind another Holden, that of Steven Richards. Murphy yesterday broke the lap record in first practice.
Mark Skaife was third fastest this morning with the major surprise being current champion Marcos Ambrose who struggled again, coming in way back at 28th place.
Qualifying starts shortly followed by the Top 10 shootout and the first of three races for the weekend.
