Heavy rain has forced the cancellation of the first of three race to be held this weekend at Pukekohe Park, New Zealand for Round 3 of the V8Supercar Championship Series.
With weather conditions worsening, and water pooling in several places around the 3.5 kilometre circuit, the difficult decision was made to cancel the Saturday afternoon race.
Holden Racing Team's Mark Skaife will now start on pole position for Race 2 at 12:10pm local time for the first of two 150 kilometre race to be held on Sunday.
