Bartercard V8 Supergirl's Search For The New Zealand Representative

27/4/2004 23:29 (Press Release) - Bartercard V8 Supergirl competition launches onto the track for the 2004 V8 Supercar series with the third round of the competition being staged in Pukekohe at the Pukekohe Raceway, April 30th – May 2nd 2004.

40 lovely young ladies will be brought in from all around New Zealand to compete girls in this glamorous International Grid Girl competition. The search is on to find the New Zealand representative to fly the Kiwi Flag at the final in Sydney in December.

This prestigious international competition will take place over the next 6 months culminating at the final round of the 2004 V8 Supercar Championship at Eastern Creek Raceway, Sydney, Australia December 2nd – 5th, 2004. Over 3000 beautiful young ladies will vie for the opportunity to be the face of V8 Supercars with the title Bartercard V8 Supergirl.

At each round of the V8 races 40 single young ladies between 18 and 28 years will go through photographic judging, interview and swimwear judging. The top 6 finishing girls of each round will go onto the official V8 Supercar website, www.v8supercars.com.au and the public will then go online to vote for their favourite. The winner voted from each round will then go to the Bartercard V8 Supergirl Grand final at The Main Event, Eastern Creek, Sydney in December.

The girls are the hottest attraction on the tracks (not on four wheels) with enormous focus from race fans. They have an exciting schedule of public, media appearances, rehearsals, judging, track and race appearances and V8 autograph sessions and calendar and on the grid at the start of each race holding the driver signs.

Bartercard V8 Supergirls are in the following categories of (1) Photographic Judging, (2) Interview Judging and, (3) Swimwear Judging.

The 2005 Bartercard V8 Supergirl calendar will released in July for sale through out New Zealand and Australia.

The overall winner at the end of the V8 Supercar season will be known as 2005 Bartercard V8 Supergirl will share in $30,000 worth of prizes and a 12 month promotional contract from naming rights sponsors Bartercard Australia as the Face of V8 Supercars.

Procon Leisure, event producers for Bartercard V8 Supergirl bring their 30 years of experience in world wide competition organizers to this exciting competition. Procon produces such events as Australian Swimwear Model of the Year, Bartercard Miss Indy, Miss Molson Indy Vancouver, Toronto and Long Beach and Manhunt International world wide.

The company will have the distinction of moving more than 50 people around the track for each event, which is more than the biggest race team, which included 44 girls, chaperones, choreographers, photographers, video photographers and event co-coordinators.
