
Second Row of the Grid for Castrol Perkins

Castrol Perkins Motorsports Steven Richards will start from the second row of the grid for tomorrow's race after finishing in third position in the top 10 shootout today.
Steven set a time of 1:32.135 and was in second position behind Marcos Ambrose with only Mark Skaife and John Bowe yet to do their times.
Mark Skaife managed to go one tenth quicker with a time of 1:32.030 putting Steven into third position with the fastest qualifier yet to set his lap.
John Bowe looked very fast in the first sector of his lap only to leave the track into the dirt destroying any chance he had of pole position.
"The team gave me a great car for the top 10 shootout and it feels really strong and balanced. That was the quickest I could do so we need to pick up a little pace if we are going to catch the guys ahead of us, but that was 1 lap we have 77 tomorrow" said Steven
Marcos Ambrose was quickest with a time of 1:31.920 followed by Mark Skaife 1:32.030 then Steven Richards 1:32.135
Tomorrow's race is a 77 lap event starting at 1:30PM
