Radisich and Wilson Conserve Their Fords in Race Three

7/3/2004 14:36 (Press Release) - Team Betta Electrical drivers Paul Radisich and Max Wilson chose to conserve their cars in today’s V8 Supercars race 3 event at Melbourne’s Albert Park.

Triple Eight Race Engineering team owner Roland Dane said “we are not out here to prove anything this weekend, we are using these three races this weekend as a test base for round one of this years championship series”.

‘If you count up the teams that have inflicted considerable damage to their cars here this weekend, they will be hard pressed to have them repaired in time for the Adelaide Clipsal 500” said Dane.

“We instructed our drivers to take it easy, stay out of trouble and bring the cars home in one piece, they did just that” – Dane concluded.

Paul Radisich said,” the car ran well and we managed to gather valuable data to assist us in our preparation for Round One at Adelaide’s Clipsal 500.”
“It wasn’t about going out there this weekend and mixing it with the other competitors, we want our cars to be spot on for Round One in two weeks time and I’m glad we approached this event in that manner,” said Wilson.
