TKR Debut In Top Ten

TKR/Hydraulink Driver Mark Porter has managed to qualify in the top ten on debut with his new team at the first round of the Konica Minolta V8 Supercar Championship at Wakefield Park, NSW.
In the first practice Porter was fourth quickest showing the potential this new team and package has.
"I am still getting used to the difference of this car compared to my car from last year but my practice times showed we will be very competitive this year"
"I just couldn't get a full clean lap in during qualifying but to be in the top ten is fine for our first outing"
There are three sprint races on Sunday for the V8's with two seventeen lap races and one thirty lap race to finish off the day.
"There is more in the car and driver yet with fine tuning so I am very happy with a top ten qualifying result in our first race meeting together"
"This is a new team with new driver, car and staff and we are competitive straight out the box which is encouraging". Says Team Manager Barry Jones.
