Matters arising from Qualifying - Lower 50%:
The following cars/drivers were found to be in breach of rules, failure
to attend weigh scales when signalled (D16.5).
* Car #52, Matthew White, Britek Motorsport, failed to stop at the weigh
scales when signalled at 1135 hours. The Stewards applied a penalty of
exclusion of times to that point. Car #52 failed to represent at the
weigh scales, therefore the Stewards applied a penalty of exclusion from
the session.
* Car #5, Greg Ritter, Ford Performance Racing, failed to stop at the
weigh scales when signalled at end of session. The Stewards applied a
penalty of exclusion of times to that point.
Other matters:
Following an investigation by the IPO, car #16, Garth Tander, HSV Dealer
Team, was found to be in breach of rules, working on car without
permission from the Category Technical Director after qualifying
(D11.4.10). The Stewards imposed the mandatory penalty of exclusion of
car #16 from the session (qualifying).
